Liebster Award...

So the lovely Olivia (Thanks again sweets) over at http://www.livvyy.blogspot.co.uk/ nominated me for a Liebster Award so here's my answers and at the end I'll tag some lovely fellow Blogger dolls to join in on the fun!

So, what are the Liebster awards...

To put it simply its a way of getting to know other bloggers and to gain recognition within the blogging community.
You answer the 11 questions via the person whom nominated you and then set 11 other bloggers questions you'd like them to answer :)

The official rules are as follows;

1.You must link back to the person who nominated you
2. You must answer the 11 questions that the person who nominated you asked.
3. Pick 11 other bloggers to answer your questions.
4. Create 11 new questions for them to answer
and finally...
5. Go to their blogs and notify them they have been nominated!

Simples.
LOL.

So here were the questions I was asked and my answers.

1.  What do you spend most of your money on? Clothes, shoes, accessories or food?
Most of my money goes on accessories followed closely by shoes. I love the fact that I don't have to try anything on, I know by holding up whatever jewellery piece has caught my eye that it will fit and I don't have to endure the lengthy task of entering the changing room! lol. That truly is a task and a half!

2. Summer Fashion or Winter? and why
I'd say AW for sure. I love rocking leather, faux fur and able to layer without boiling to death. LOL.

3. Fave place in the world and why?
"I LOVE NEW YORK" (said in a JayZ voice). What's there not to love about the big apple. I've been several times. I love the food, I love the malls. I especially love Queens in particular. Manhattens alright but I love grabbing a bargain!

4. What decade do you like? 40s 50s 60s 70s 80s or 90s?
This is a tricky one. But being born in the 80s and growing in the 90s, I'd say the 50s. The war would have just ended and I'd love to experience the changes in culture I've read about. I'd then get to experience the 60s, a time when my Nan came to London and obviously get to rock the fashion.

5. Fave designer?
Vivienne Westwood for her quirkiness.

6. Fave Brand?
Makeup - MAC and Sleek
Fashion - H&M and Zara

7. If you could interview anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be? (doesn't have to be fashion /beauty related)
Michael Jackson. My music idol. Grew up listening to him and being able to meet him face to face. Epic would be an understatement.

8. What fashion week do you prefer? LDN/MILAN/NY/PARIS
LDN - the best city ever!

9. If you had the opportunity to have either an unlimited number of bags or shoes which would you have?
Shoes. No brainer! lol

10. Do you remember an outfit that you used to love as a child - describe it...
My fave outfit from my childhood would be my NY baseball shirt and matching shorts with my LA Gear light up trainers! Owww! lol.

and last but not least...

11. What was the last exhibition you saw?
I love museums, and the last one I went too was the Geffrye Museum in Hackney.
Loved looking at the decor of homes throughout the decades.

Mini spring haul - new buys,...

Hope everyone's well. Can we just have a moment of applause for the fact that we've experienced some SUN!!!! lol. 

This weeks must haves for me had to be HAYFEVER remedies! 

Ever since I was young every year without fall I suffer. So there was no way I was going to wait until it got really bad. Headed over to Superdrugs and lets just say stocked up would be an understatement.

If you're a contact lenses wearer like me - not sure if I'm late, but I came across eyedrops that can be used WITH lenses. RELIEFFFF!

Came across this lushhhhh neon blend necklace. Everyone and their cat know I loveeee a statement necklace, jewellery in general. You don't have to faff around trying it on and you can just grab, pay and go.

And had to swipe up this red bandana enroute to the till. 

Came across this gorgeous baby whilst shopping with my mum and she made me buy it. It was the last one and I was adamant it wouldn't fit tight at the bottom as it was a size 14, but she was righttt!It's wearable. 

Then I found these gorgeeee wedges! Looking at them you'd think they were from Topshop, but these gorge babies are a fraction of what you would be expected to pay. I can't wait to wear em! I've been on the hunt for something similar for agesss!

How much I hear you say?

Why - a mere £20 dolls!

And last but not least, HAD to purchase more real techniques brushes! I just cannot get enough of them.

I was hoping to make the most of Boots 3 for 2 that I saw they had online but my local branch never has the brushes. I really wanted to purchase the Stippling Brush alongside these two but in the end I missed the promotion. What I have noticed ladies however, is that Superdrugs stock the same brushes but for a pound or two cheaper. 

So when I found out the promotion had ended I went to Superdrugs and they had a deal, buy one get one half price. So I picked up the Powder Brush and the Blush Brush. Under £16 for both.

I haven't used a fine liner pen in forever because I never have the patience to apply it neatly.

But using it again I must say I loves it. 

Love the fact that I found a concealer that actually blends with my skintone regardless of the fact its from the drugstore. Surprisingly I found it in the least expected place/brand. Miss Sporty! and only £2.99!!!

I got the "Dark" and I must say I prefer it to my Maybelline fit me concealer.

Other brands need to hurry up and make more a variety when it comes to the colours available because if you're darker than me you're kind of stuck for choice.

Last but not least - the Maybelline great lash mascara *insert fanfare* AMAZINGGGGG!!!!!!!!

Can't get enough of it. 

Saw it on special - £3.99 and thought let me give it a try and so glad I did. A little annoyed I didn't grab a few more! :(

New Beauty Buys - Revlon vs Maybelline

Hey Loves,

Just a quick post to share some of my latest beauty buys with my makeup lovers!

So - towards the end of last year I purchased Maybellines "Fit Me" foundation after receiving a sample.

Loved it initially, however, I started to notice recently that I was getting a red rash on my cheeks, so decided to ditch it.

I then purchased Revlons "Nearly Naked" foundation and have to say I love it already!

It's perfect. Blends well, Isn't heavy and is great for my normal/dry skin.

Whilst I was browsing the stand I also saw the Lip Butters and after swatching a few I fell in love with "Pink Truffle".

I love the colour pay off and the fact that the colours buildable. 

I wish I'd brought more now.

So, last weekend I was told by my Mr to have my bags packed and be ready to roll out early Saturday afternoon in celebration of our Anniversary (Insert BIG grin here). 

With my nails did, and my hair done - I was anxious to see what was gonna be ornnn and poppin' loooool.

Excitement wouldn't allow me to sleep and I kept waking up throughout the night.

Anywho, not knowing where we were heading was both nerve wrecking and exciting.

I still hadn't clocked we were enroute to Birmingham, and my fab other half had planned a getaway for me to see @TeedraMoses (Aaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!).

HELLO BIRMINGHAM

There's me thinking damn, Teedra's here in the UK and all the ticks were sold out - not knowing Mr had booked and planned everything from August! *He actually killed it :D )

The motorway messed up his plans for the day time but I can't knock my Mr's planning - he's a star.

Anywho,...The weekend was amazing, when I thought we were coming home on Sunday - nope, he'd arranged for us to go to this uber lush hotel and having another night out in Birmz :D

I'm spoilt regularly by Mr, but I have to admit I was well n truly blown away on our weekend away.

I won't go into all intricate detailing of the weekends events, it's too special to share (soz) but I will say he shocked me and had me speechless several times.

He took some amazing snaps throughout our trip because SOMEONE (whispers - meee), forgot the SD card for the digi cam - LOOOOOL. It was his idea to take some snaps that he thought I could blog.
